The RetroTech Archive (RTA) is a collaborative, interdisciplinary project designed to develop both a physical-digital archive and a research program on retro computing software and technology from the 1980s to early 2000s. Housed in ASU’s TechnoMaterials Lab (TML), the archive will encompass the current collection of over 350 computer games, software, hardware and works of interactive media.

Consoles and Games
Our game collection consists of dozens of functional game consoles including the Fairchild Channel F (1976), Atari 2600 (1977), NES (1985), SNES (1991), Sega Genesis (1989), Gameboy (1989) and Dreamcast (1999). Along with the consoles, we have dozens of game cartridges for each system.
