ABOUT
Founded in 2023, the TechnoMaterials Lab is a transdisciplinary space for teaching, research and creative inquiry into, through, across, and around the material aspects of technology. Part community space, part living archive, the TML houses an unique collection of over four decades of media technologies including historical game consoles, early computer games, film cameras and projectors, typewriters, and original personal computers.​

Bringing together play and game studies with critical design practices and media history, the TML is a space for re-imagining futures through exploring the past.

Our work is driven by questions about the relationship between the digital, the material and the affective. We challenge conventional divides between the physical and digital worlds.
